Integrating with your build system

Once you have a test suite with a few test cases you may want to run it every time you commit your code or deploy a new release. Frontend Robot integrates with any build system or CI/CD platform thanks to webhooks.

Generating a webhook

To get the webhook for a test suite, click on the webhook button at the top right corner of the suite view:

Open webhook dialog
Open webhook dialog

Alternatively, in a test suite with test environments, open the environment’s context menu and select Webhook as shown below:

Open webhook dialog
Open webhook dialog

Only entire test suites can be run using webhooks.

Now on the dialog that appears, click Generate Webhook to get a fresh webhook for the test suite.

Now you can copy the full command and paste it at the end of your build script to run the test suite on-demand every time your build completes.

Alternatively you can copy just the URL portion of the command if you want to invoke the webhook with more sophisticated systems (e.g. using another HTTP client).

If you want to invoke the webhook manually (without the provided command), please note that you need to send an empty POST request to the webhook URL.
